- The ξ /ksi/ cycling slave cylinders are the first customizable and fully repairable slave cylinders available
- Being customizable means that you can choose between 8 different versions by selecting different piston material, softer or harder springs and Grade 5 titanium (Ti 6Al 4V) or 316 stainless steel fittings and internals. If you are not sure which slave cylinders better fit your riding contact ξ /ksi/ cycling via email or social media
- Being fully repairable means that you can take them apart, clean them and regrease them so as to make them feel and response as good as new as often as you need this brand new feeling
- They are compatible with rim brake clamps and brake boosters that have been designed to mount slave cylinders with a mounting diameter of 23mm.
- It has to be mentioned that they have been designed to be as compact as possible to allow for greater clearance between the crank arms and the slave cylinders when mounted on the frame. This may be an issue for some frames or forks with relatively large clearance between their mounting holes. So, if you’re in doubt please see the relevant figure with the general dimensions of the slave cylinders or contact ξ /ksi/ cycling before purchasing these slave cylinders.
- The ξ /ksi/ cycling slave cylinders are being supported by the introduction of a special tool and a bleeding kit as well as a comprehensive manual that gives you the appropriate know-how in order to make sure that you’ll always be able to make your slave cylinders perform as perfectly as possible
- Also, make sure to check out the special SLICKOLEUM+WS2 seals grease in order to properly grease the seals of the pistons every time you take them apart
- Pack includes a complete set of two slave cylinders with their relevant fittings and 4 olives
- Weight depends on the selected version: from ~79g to ~92g per pair, including three shroud nuts and a bleed plug
The ξ /ksi/ cycling slave cylinders are being manufactured in small batches of 2-4 pairs per week and each one goes through extensive Quality Control processes to ensure that they are in line with their expected specifications.
